In 2007, after 20 years of growing the top brands in the fashion retail space, I received a call from a close friend asking me to take on the responsibility of managing the day-to-day activities of the then-Chancellor for the District of Columbia Public Schools, Michelle Rhee. I took a step out on faith and accepted this challenge. Little did I know this decision would change the trajectory of my career and life.
Since then I have expanded my network in and out of the education sector, helping executives use their time more wisely and assisting to maximize their work and impact. In addition to my administrative and operational skills, I’ve helped lead and implement organizational change efforts, facilitated stakeholder engagement initiatives and worked with highly influential groups to ignite impactful change in the education system.
When I’m not empowering my clients professionally, I revel in taking my time to enjoy the small, yet beautiful wonders of life, which for me include entertaining good friends and family, traveling across the globe and getting cozy with a good book!
